What would I want Kerson do? Julia, Yuja, Natasha…. what do I want to see from their performance? I cannot stand the beautiful emptiness of classical performance. Of course I don’t like a performance that lacks technique no matter how much it brings meanings and creativity. But I want to know what performers think about their repertoire and how they respond to the world around us. What are the ways to do it without loosing the focus on sound?
