Performance is an act of recalling, re-presenting from memory, or looking into something from outside. A performer is not in the picture. They are always in control.

Beauty in music performance is like money – how much beauty matters, but how to use them matters more. You need to frame your performance to give meanings. Leaving it abstract is irresponsible.
